odyssey barbell club offers remote monthly coaching with a qualified coach suited to your training experience and needs.

COACHES:

Eric LaPointe

ERIC IS A USA POWERLIFTING CLUB CERTIFIED COACH, state referee, meet director, and competitor since 2015. He is committed to continuously learning and keeping up to date with strength research and its application. He has worked with over 100 athletes and has been fortunate enough to help develop some into elite lifters on National AND INTERNATIONAL Platforms. He prides himself in coaching adaptively to best suit the individuals needs to continue driving progress, along with meet day strategy and planning.

Katie An

Katie is a USA Powerlifting state referee and 67.5 kg competitor. Katie has been competing in powerlifting meets since highschool, holding multiple records and later being involved in establishing a powerlifting team at her college. Katie aims to share her knowledge with lifters and develop them into the strongest versions of themselves and ensure they are platform ready.

David Yeung

David is a USA Powerlifting Club Level Certified Coach, State Referee, and former member of the Ohio State Powerlifting Club. David has experience coaching and handling male and female athletes of different levels through training and meet day performance with the goal of combining established methods with an individually tailored approach to extract the best out of each lifter.

Amanda Carlisle

Amanda is a USA Powerlifting Club Level Certified Coach, State Referee, and former president of the UMASS Amherst Powerlifting Club. She has experience in coaching athletes from beginner stages to National Level Competitions and thoroughly enjoys guiding an individuals’ strengths into continued progress in strength and technique.

Kyle Power

Kyle is an experienced coach as well as a lifter. He has provided coaching and guidance to athletes of all levels and competed in a number of National and International competitions. He has assisted lifters of all levels, both those new to powerlifting and those competing on National platforms. He enjoys the challenges associated with adapting and formulating the best possible approach to an athletes training and progress.
